Tom, founder and owner of The Ortho Remedy graduated in 1974 from New York University Prosthetic and Orthotic School. He interned at one of NY’s leading P&O labs, Eschen Prosthetic & Orthotics, for 3 years.

In 1976 he opened The Ortho Remedy Center for Prosthetic Excellence. Ever since, he has dedicated his career to helping people with physical challenges reach their full potential and lead happy and productive lives.

He has been published in several industry journals and stays abreast of all the latest technological advances in both prosthetics and orthotics. In 1981, he invented EndoFlex® System, a revolutionary lightweight system for both below and above-knee amputees. Since then, he has taught seminars to other practitioners interested in utilizing his system, and he supplies the materials and equipment necessary to make and fit the prostheses.

Tom was the first prosthetic practitioner in the tri-state area (NJ/NY/CT) to be certified to fit and program the technologically advanced C-Leg® by Otto Bock Healthcare, a German manufacturer of prosthetic and orthotic components. Microprocessor controlled hydraulics and pneumatics is now an industry standard ever improving exponentially. Tom is certified by all certifying agencies and licensed by the State of New Jersey to practice. He is also an active member of ABC, BOC, P & O Association, NJPOS, ISOP. NAAOP, AAOP, and AOPA not to mention WXYZ.
