In May 2011, The Ortho Remedy was proud to have its newest member, Jose Piantini join the team however, don't let his few months of employment here fool you. Jose presents with a wealth of experience as a certified practitioner in Prosthetics. Having trained at one of NY's premier laboratories for nearly 30 years, it is obvious that dedication is one of his many attributes. His knowledge and wisdom that he brings to the company is valuable and shared amongst his co-workers daily.

Meticulous and adept with his hands, Jose is an artisan who prides himself working with all types of materials whether it be laminating a socket Ir fabricating a thigh corset for a conventional prosthesis. His skills however are not just confined to the lab. Jose is a true gentleman which probably stems from his culture. Born in the Dominican Republic, he is accommodating and strives to make his patients happy. His soft spoken demeanor works well for many of our older female patients who often like to be nurtured.
Married for only 5 years, Jose spends lunch with his wife everyday, via cell phone!
