In 2002-2003, the company renovated and expanded its space to what is now our State of the Art 15,000 square foot facility. At the time, it was decided to outsource building maintenance. Frank Rivera’s company was contracted to keep the facility clean at all times.

He seemed to enjoy cleaning the lab space more than any of the other offices, always asking questions about how we do what we do. He would often assist technicians as they needed a hand. Frank quickly displayed an intuitive understanding of mechanics, metallurgy and even anatomy. He also has what we call in this field, a great pair of hands. Little by little, he became more valuable in the lab manufacturing than in the bathrooms mopping.

Frank now enjoys a position as a key technician and since he is bilingual, he also sees Hispanic patients, translating as he gains experience in patient management. He is hard working, meticulous and sensitive to patients needs.

It is truly a pleasure to watch a young, ambitious man enjoying a career in this industry. His contribution, to prosthetics and orthotics, is already being noticed. House cleaning is still shared by the entire staff.
